			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the most frightening experiences is having a panic attack.  When the feeling begins to take over your body, it is important you know how to stop panic attacks.</p>
<p>Knowing how to stop these attacks will better prepare you for future attacks and you’ll be calmer when the attack takes place.  I have experienced several panic attacks through my life and after the first, I immediately researched how to handle panic attacks to better prepare myself for the future.</p>
<p>By understanding this, the severity of my attacks went down and I handled them much easier.  Here are some tips that I picked up on how to stop panic attacks that have prepared me for future attacks.</p>
<p>First, when you start the panic attack, keep telling yourself that you will survive because you have gone through this before.  Keeping a positive frame of mind during the attack helps bring the attack to an end.  When going through a panic attack, your body and head will feel very hot.  To counter this, get yourself a cup of cold water that will help cool down the body.</p>
<p>Next, do something that focuses your mind elsewhere.  By drawing your attention away from the attack, it will begin to relax the body and will help get over the panic attack.  Some of the best things to focus on to stop panic attacks are a funny movie or television show.  It won’t require much thinking but it will easily get your attention.  Even watching a funny video on the internet will work, just as long as your mind is elsewhere, it can help you bring this scary attack to an end.</p>
<p>Another way to avert your mind and stop panic attacks is to have a conversation with someone.  Talking to someone will mentally calm you down and begin to get over your panic attack.  If there is no one else around, have a conversation with yourself.  While it does not seem like a sane thing to do, talking to yourself is an activity that will remove your mind from your situation and calm you down.</p>
<p>These are ways that will help stop panic attacks when they start to take place.  Getting through your first panic attack successfully will give you confidence that you can handle future attacks.  Knowing how to stop these attacks will remove the fear of future attacks, causing them to happen a lot less.</p>

<p>Panic Puzzle was created by Rich Presta, who actually dealt with panic attacks personally and did ample amounts of research to find the best solution. As a matter of fact, Presta did reviews on practically every reliable resource on conquering phobias, panic and anxiety from the past century to unearth the theories that have endured over the years.</p>
<p>Then, he integrated these theories with contemporary means to come up with what is most likely to be the most successful tool I have found that helps people to heal from their panic and anxiety attacks.</p>

<p>This program is made up of a guidebook and comprehensive supplementary content. All information is provided in a digital format so that it is readily available.</p>
<p>This program&#8217;s content would still retain its value on a ripped restaurant napkin, although I am appreciative of it while it is provided in the very appealing way which rich Presta presents it. The guidebook&#8217;s design and layout is incredibly clear and legible for even a computer screen.</p>
<p>Also, the writing style that Presta conveys is easily accessible, informal and user friendly. The contents of this book are presented in a clear, concise manner without any signs of fluff.</p>
<p>This program starts off with clarification on why anybody may have anxiety attacks to begin with. This is then followed up with exercises you can use to discover the origin and nature of your very own &#8220;fear cycle&#8221;.</p>
<p>After that, you will be taught a sequence of methods that all build on each other that enable you to initially interject your fear cycle so that you can totally eliminate your phobias and anxieties.</p>
<p>I realize that some of the methods have been taken from neurolinguistic programming therapy, yogic breathing, operant conditioning, cognitive restructuring and so on. Additional methods were completely new to me, and that was a nice change to say the least.</p>

<p>My only small issue with Presta&#8217;s program is that it does not disclose the origins of many discussed methods. He also doe not provide supplementary sources for those who may want to dig deeper into a specific method.</p>
<p>Then again, this program&#8217;s intent was to be a hands-on system for people to employ. It does quite well in providing practical content in a clear, straightforward and &#8220;here&#8217;s what you must do&#8221; approach.</p>
<p>As I previously mentioned, the Panic Puzzle is not a program that hams things up.</p>
<h3>Life Strategies?</h3>
<p>I believe that the most unexpected aspect about this program is that approximately 1/3 of it goes into life strategies, which starts with a brief (albeit formidable) chapter on time management.</p>
<p>In the beginning, I was curious as to why this was in the program and how it helped anxiety and panic issues, but I soon realized this author&#8217;s wisdom.</p>
<p>The Panic Puzzle is not a magical solution. While it does work, there is a sequence of exercises that should be conducted, along with a set of skills to practice. All of this is going to take time. It won&#8217;t take a lot of time, but it will be well worth the outcome; however, Presta expects that most of the people who claim they don&#8217;t have &#8220;enough time&#8221; are slackers.</p>
<p>He staves this off by teaching a direct method for time management that ensures people set aside a block of time to finish this program and totally eliminate their fears.</p>
<p>In addition to that, the objective of this program is to not only get rid of panic attacks, but to live a healthier, more stable life after being freed from your fears. This is where the Life Strategies chapter comes in handy. In truly relished in this chapter, and it really did set off the book with its holistic teachings.</p>
<h3>What Else Is Included with Panic Puzzle?</h3>
<p>Aside from the allotted exercises and guidebook, readers receive an uncut copy of the guidebook and an additional book called &#8220;The Anxiety Helix&#8221;; then there is the &#8220;Rescue&#8221; audio users can utilize while feeling extremely panicked or anxious, or during relaxation periods with additional materials.</p>
